Covid 19 Restrictions
Updated January 2022
Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic we have strived to ensure the surgery is as safe as possible for all our patients and staff.
We will continue to do so going forward, patients will continue to be required to;
- Wear a face covering,
- Maintain social distancing,
- Use hand sanitiser when entering the surgery,
- Staff will continue to wear PPE.
We understand that it can be frustrating, however we know that when patients attend the surgery they are potentially very unwell and vulnerable therefore we feel it would be wrong to not take these simple precautions to help protect our patients and staff.
We have been open throughout the Covid 19 pandemic and in fact have consulted with a much higher number of patients than we did before Covid 19.
Alongside this we have successfully vaccinated 90% of the adult population twice in the last 6 months.
We appreciate your continued support and understanding in our effort to minimise the impact of Covid 19 on the surgery.
If you start with any of the following symptoms please ring the surgery before attending and inform the staff:
High Temperature, New Persistent cough, Loss of Smell/taste.
If you arrive and there is already a patient in the foyer, please wait until they have either entered the waiting room or left the building. We have a one-way system and once in the waiting room you will exit via the back door to adhere to social distancing rules.
CHILDHOOD VACCINATIONS WILL CONTINUE AS NORMAL

Prescribing of Over the Counter Medicines is Changing
Your GP, Nurse or Pharmacist will not generally give you a prescription for over the counter medicines for a range of minor health concerns.
Instead over the counter medicines are available to buy in a pharmacy or supermarket in your local community.
